Welcome to my website. I was born on November 2, 1978 near Cleveland, Ohio. I enjoy spending time with my wonderful wife and family, listening to music, watching movies, working on computers and with the Internet.
My Wife
I met my sweetheart at a party at a friends house in the summer of 1996. Cassie and I became the best of friends. In July of 1997, just before I left for college, Cassie and I officially became a couple. We've been together ever since and have never been happier. On August 6, 2002, I asked Cassie to marry me. Then, on June 25, 2005, Cassie and I were finally married.
We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon and spent 9 wonderful days on Kauai and Oahu! We also stopped for 3 days in San Francisco on our way back to Ohio.
Cassie and I have moved into a house in Pheasant Run, an association community located about midway between Wellington and LaGrange. We are expecting our first child around Thanksgiving 2008.
Business
I love computers and the Internet, so I started a web services company. I provide hosting, web design, and domain registration services. I currently have four servers:
1. Anastasia is a Pentium IV 2.4 GHz machine with 1 GB of RAM and dual 120 GB hard drives operating in a RAID mirror. Anastasia runs the Linux OS with Apache webserver software and lives at Tera-Byte in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She is responsible for mail, MySQL databases, DNS, and control panel functions.
2. Cleopatra is another Pentium IV 2.4 GHz machine. She has 1 GB of memory and dual 120 GB hard drives that use a RAID mirroring system for improved speed and redundancy. She is responsible for serving out webpages for all Linux-powered sites (the majority of my clients). She sits next to Anastasia in Edmonton, Alberta.
3. Demitrius is an AMD 1.8 GHz machine with 1 GB of RAM and an 80 GB hard drive. He runs Windows 2003 Standard Edition with IIS-6 webserver software. He lives at Server Beach in San Antonio, Texas and powers many of the Windows websites that I host. He is also capable of Windows Streaming Media.
4. Demitrius is a Pentium IV 3.6 GHz machine running Redhat Enterprise Linux. He has 2 GB of memory and dual 250 GB hard drives running in a RAID mirror for redundancy. This guy handles my VPS systems, which stands for Virtual Private Servers. This is an intermediate step between the shared hosting I provide on the other servers and the more expensive dedicated servers that I'm also starting to offer.
My "Real" Job
In September 2001 I began work at a local grocery store, Village Market. I started as a stockboy but was quickly moved up through the ranks to my current position as supervisor. I work mostly at night and on weekends and act as the "manager on duty". There are always good days and bad, but I do really enjoy the work and the people (most of them).
My Education
I graduated in May 2007 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and a minor in Geography. I now join the ranks of many who are trying to find a better job.
